Registration

To play in the first GAV event a player must submit Accident Waiver form and obtain a GAV membership. The annual cost of the membership is $15. Please bring a signed waiver and application with you to the tournemant to speed up the registration process. The forms can be obtained from the GAV website or at the following link:

SIGN UP PROCEDURE:

The registration is on the GAV website, please follow the following steps:

1) Go to http://gavtour.com/Beach-Volleyball-Events.aspx

(if the link does not work, go to gavtour.com, click on schedule (top right), select East Coast)

2) find the tournament you want to enter and click "register" next to it

3) enter your last name and select the division you qualify for (juniors are all the way at the bottom)

4) follow the prompted steps and you should be good to go

5) if you want to check whether your registration was successful repeat steps 1-3 and in step 4 select "current entries", scroll down and the juniors should be at the bottom.

!!!!!!Remember that MOST junior tournaments are on Sundays and regular adult tournaments are on Saturdays!!!!!!!!

TROUBLE SIGNING UP:

Email Juniors@greatamericanvolleyball.com with the following info filled in (just copy and paste the box into your email) and I will register you.

REMEMBER: Sign up by Tuesday before the tournament to receive the best rate. Teams signing up after the last Tuesday before the tournament will be charged an additional $5.

NOTE:

Please note that registering by midnight the Tuesday before the event is the most cost effective way to play at GAV (and also makes it easier for us to prepare for the event).

NO PARTNER, NO PROBLEM:

If you are interested in playing, but do not have a partner, please email Juniors@greatamericanvolleyball.com with a partner request. While GAV cannot promise you a partner, we will work very hard finding you someone appropriate to play with. Giving us a bit more than a week time greatly increases our chances at finding someone for you.  

NOTE: Please include the event date(s), your full name, HS graduation year, HS attending, and your position (if you do not have a beach position, please specify which position you play indoors, if any).
